The Deets
We at Tiny Triumph Recordings are running a competition where the winner will get a music production package worth $10k in value which includes 2 days in the brand new Massey Recording Studios in Wellington with Toby Lloyd producing the track for you. We will then mix the track to get it sounding huge and exciting. Our mate Ben Stewart from Ben Stewart Photography will join in on the fun and film the whole process and you will come away with a live in the studio music video. To top it off; Chris Chetland from KOG mastering will master the track to make sure it sonically sits beautifully on all the different platforms.
 
Who is behind this madness?
Tiny Triumph Recordings is run by Toby Lloyd; an experienced Music Producer/Engineer who has worked with the likes of Shapeshifter, Hollie Smith, Tiki Tane, Troy Kingi, Ladi6, Dr Reknaw, Sea Mouse and many many more.
 
Ben Stewart is a photographer and videographer based in Wellington, who has made music videos for some of Wellington’s finest musicians including Arjuna Oakes, Raw Collective and Sam Cullen. As a keys player himself (Dr Reknaw, HUMMUCIDE and Sky Canvas), he understands what musicians need from video content

KOG Studios is run by the legendary Chris Chetland whom has mastered some of New Zealands all time most successful songs and won countless awards for his work ranging from Scribe to Marlon Williams and everything in between.

What You Need To Do?

  • Upload a demo (1 song only) to Dropbox or Soundcloud, then fill in the form below and submit the link to your demo. This song must be an original composition (i.e. no covers)

Competition Rules

 

  • Competition opens October 18th 2020 and closes on the 12th of November

​

  • Winner will be announced on 22nd of November 2020 on the Tiny Triumph Facebook Page

​

  • This competition is not open to bands or artists that Tiny Triumph Recordings have already produced or mixed.

​

  • It can be a band, a solo artist or a group; it doesn’t matter if you don’t have musicians already in your project; we will have you covered and do whatever we need to to make this project sound as huge as possible!

​

  • This competition is open to any New Zealand based band or artist from anywhere in the country however accomodation and travel will not be included.

​

  • The winner will have to have completed all the items listed above
