To celebrate NZ Music Month; We have joined forces with some of the most talented and kind folks in the scene and are proud to announce that we are running our 2nd competition where the winner will get a music production package worth $10k in value which includes 2 days of studio time in Wellington (1 day in the legendary Surgery Recording Studios and 1 day in the Tiny Triumph Recordings Studio) with Toby Lloyd producing the track for you. We will then mix the track to get it sounding huge and exciting. Our friends over at Studio Halfgray will join in on the fun and film an amazing music video to accompany the track. Then Chris Chetland from KOG mastering will master the track to make sure it sonically sits beautifully on all the different platforms and to top it off the kind folks at Radio Active will interview the winner and Premiere the song when it's released.

Tiny Triumph Recordings is run by Toby Lloyd; a Wellington based Music Producer/Engineer who has worked with the likes of Shapeshifter, Hollie Smith, Nightmares On Wax, Rob Ruha, Troy Kingi, Dr Reknaw, Sea Mouse and many more.
Studio Halfgray is a Video Production Company based in Wellington, who have worked with some of Wellington’s finest artists including TOI, Casual Healing, Arjuna Oakes, Raw Collective and Revulva.
Surgery Studios is an iconic Wellington institution run by Dr Lee Prebble and one of the most in demand Recording Studios in the country. It has recorded some of the biggest acts in Aotearoa like L.A.B, Phoenix Foundation, Black Seeds, Dave Dobbyn and many more!
KOG Studios is run by the legendary Chris Chetland whom has mastered some of New Zealands all time most successful songs and won countless awards for his work ranging from Scribe, Alien Weaponry to Marlon Williams and everything in between.
Radio Active is Wellingtons most loved indie Radio Station that plays a wide array of styles and genres and has an extremely loyal fanbase in the scene.

Bands/Artists who have worked with Toby Lloyd as a Producer before will unfortunately not be able to enter.

It can be a band, a solo artist or a group; it doesn’t matter if you don’t have musicians already in your project; we will have you covered and do whatever we need to to make this project sound as huge as possible!

This competition is open to any New Zealand based band or artist from anywhere in the country however accomodation and travel will not be included.
